What You Can Do to Help the Pro-Life Movement

We frequently receive calls and letters asking, in one form or another, the above question. We have suggested some areas that you may select from to become involved in this vital work.

  1. Educate yourself - Abortion is a vital issue. Study it in all its aspects so that your efforts to end the tragedy are informed and accurate.
  2. Volunteer - Since its beginning, International Life Services has depended on the generosity of volunteers to carry out its mission. We need volunteer speakers, counselors, office help, people with computer backgrounds -- there is a place for everyone at ILS.
  3. Prayer - The staff of ILS meets daily at 12:00 noon to take a moment to pray for the unborn, for mothers, fathers, families in need, those lonely and in need of help, our benefactors, and for our nation. We invite you to take a moment each day and join us in prayer.
  4. Write Letters - Write letters to your local newspapers, radio stations, television stations, in rebuttal or support of articles, letters, editorials, and particular programs. Your letters should be personal, sincere, well-presented and reasonably brief.
  5. Financial Support - The cornerstone of ILS is the support we receive from the generosity of a family of donors. Help fund our service to thousands of women to provide a solid financial base as we move into the next century. No gift is too large or too small and will be used to further the cause of life. It's also possible to start a fundraiser. With a little initiative and the right direction you can help bring in more financially through a fundraiser than simply being a donor!
  6. Write your elected officials - Find out who your Senators and Congressmen are and where they stand on this issue by visiting *****. Whenever anything comes up in Congress on life issues, let them know your feelings ... become the voice of those who have no voice of their own -- the unborn.
